The practitioner
Olga Newman
Business & behaviour diagnostician · Executive coach
Olga works with owners of companies between $500k and $50M in revenue. Every engagement starts with a free call, then the Bottleneck Diagnostic — one pass over how the business runs and how the owner decides, ending in a written answer about what is actually in the way. Sessions run in English, Russian or Ukrainian.
How we got here
Executive Coaching Advisory is Olga Newman. One coach. The name on the door is the person you get in the room. Most owners come to her with the plan already written — a hire, a sales push, a reorganization. The plan is usually fine.
Something else is stopping it, and nobody in the room has named it yet. It is either the way the business is built, or a decision the owner keeps putting off. Naming that thing, before anyone spends money moving the wrong way, is what this practice does. It is an independent advisory practice for owner-led companies between $500k and $50M in revenue. Below $500k the owner still is the company, which is a different job.
Above $50M there is usually enough management depth that one person's habits stop setting the ceiling. In between is where the two problems tangle together, and untangling them is the part generic coaching skips. Every engagement starts with a free call, then the Bottleneck Diagnostic, not a proposal. It looks at the business and at how the owner decides, in the same pass, because they turn out to be one problem seen from two sides. The system produces a decision the owner avoids.
The avoided decision hardens back into the system. Scope is agreed before the work starts. Every session ends with a written decision log — what was decided, what it depends on, what happens before the next one. It is yours to keep. And if the diagnostic points somewhere this practice cannot help, she says so and stops.
Why Executive Coaching Advisory
Most advisory relationships start with a proposal and find the real problem around month four. Here it runs the other way. A free call comes first. Then the Bottleneck Diagnostic, a fixed piece of work at $1,500, which ends with a written answer about where your constraint actually sits.
If that answer is that you do not need a longer engagement, you will hear it — take the diagnosis and act on it yourself. Olga works with the owner, not around them. That is the line between this and organizational consulting, where a restructure that ignores how the founder decides gets quietly undone inside two quarters. It is also the line between this and leadership coaching, which works on the owner and leaves the system that created the pressure alone.
Day to day, that means scope fixed up front, so nothing expands halfway through. A written decision log after every session, yours to keep. A cadence that follows your operating cycle instead of a curriculum. What sits outside the practice: career coaching, resume or interview work, life coaching, anything clinical.
If that is what a company needs, hearing it in the first conversation beats being sold the closest thing on the shelf.
Where we deliver
Diagnostics, coaching and advisory sessions run by video, so a company in Kelowna gets the same practitioner and the same cadence as one in Toronto or Montreal, and neither of us spends a day in an airport. Sessions run in English, Russian or Ukrainian. Where you operate changes the answer.
How deep the hiring pool runs, what a senior salary costs, how fast a competitor can copy what you built — those vary enough across the markets we work in to change which constraint is actually binding. On-site work happens by arrangement, usually leadership team alignment or partner mediation, where reading the room matters more than convenience. There is no walk-in office.
If you want someone physically there, raise it on the call and the travel gets scoped with the engagement instead of after it.
